Received the EA81 from Andrew & Amanda today. Tried it out tonight. The controls are a positive: all of the functions of the torch can be controlled with one hand or, come to that, with one finger. The light operates as described in the instructions. Thus far, I have been unable to locate the Kelvin temperature for the light beam of this torch; however, I am quite satisfied with the coloration of the light beam. Green trees appear green, not as a washed-out white. I have not yet performed an exhaustive test for the full spectrum of colors. Having been an owner for four hours now, I like this torch. There is little that my higher-lumen (and higher-priced) torches have over this model except for bragging rights. This torch will meet any reasonable need that I could fathom at this writing. So far, it's a winner, especially running on AA batteries. | |
